#campnanowrimo - burnout and options
Apr. 22nd, 2014 08:38 amI'm just not feeling Episodes, the camp nano project I've been working on - I mean, I was having fun with it, I think I'll have fun with it again, but right now? No. Not at all.
Options include:
* Keep trucking on it. (ick)
* Write "and other projects" and count all wordcount in April toward my 40K goal (Seems like cheating)
* call it a split month, as I've done before, and do 15K words on Addergoole: Book two complete rewrite (this is the one I'm leaning towards).
Thoughts?

Date: 2014-04-22 02:07 pm (UTC)It seems to me that your first option is already out. If you're not having fun with the story anymore, is there any reason to continue it? You can always go back to it later on and maybe find it fun again, but forcing yourself through a project will probably just make you hate it, especially a NaNo project (at least that's been my experience). I'd say work on something you actually want to work on, and let the other rest for awhile.
