Hat tip to @capriox_B:
Why You Might want to work on multiple projects this Nov.
This is a very reasonable article on not focusing on one piece the whole month, but using other pieces to maintain momentum.
I am on the look-out for all sorts of advice on Nano that goes beyond the first-time "keep writing keep writing" sort of trend.

Reward systems are awesome
If you can, try write somewhere different at least once every three days to a week. Changing up your space is really helpful at least it is for me.
have people to talk to about your writing. Not just forum people but friends you can directly interact with. If they're doing NaNo too, that's even better.
Build a buffer
Sprints are your friend! I find, that doing a five minute sprint, a ten minute sprint and then back and forth is perfect for me when I can't focus on going for longer.
Every other day, get up and do something more active than writing. It can be going you for a walk, cooking something exercise or anything else you feel you can do.
Batch cooking is your friend and if you have to use one of your moving around times to make a lot of food so you can eat, the better it is since you kill two birds with one stone
I know I have other things but that's what comes to mind after being awake for a day.
