Enrie stared at Dozhodo.  “...What?”  She glanced up at Gianci, who was looking every bit as confused as she was.  She looked at Kivsi, who was looking determined.  She glanced over at Lovdyo, who was trying to look invisible.

“We’re not going to let that… that…”

A minor nuisance

I don't know if it's something in the Wordpress setup, but some lines in at least the last few installments are indented one space at the left, in the middle of a sentence, with no apparent reason. For example, in Ch.42B, ¶5, at a certain zoom level in my browser I see an extra space at the beginning of the line just before "Associate Governor" and "I hear", which begin their sentences. Maybe there's a double space in the raw text; that might do it, with a dumb display.

(Checks.) Yes, that's it. Raw text of the paragraph:
“Guys,” Enrie protested, “you don’t even know what I’m getting into.__Associate Governor Ilonilarrona isn’t working alone, and she is, well, you saw, she’s quite interested in getting back at someone if she falls.__I hear the woman she’s working with is even worse.__This isn’t going to be easy.”

Wherever there are two spaces, I've replaced them with underlines to show them here. It looks like you're putting two spaces after each sentence, except at the end of a paragraph. That practice goes back to typewriters where the text was all in monospaced font, and the extra space was deemed to make it easier to see the end of a sentence. But in printed text and HTML with proportional fonts that's not necessary. Try just using a single space between sentences and we'll see if it clears up.

Much more cheerfully, I love the way Enrie and Gianci are getting on, and the way the rest of the crew are cheering them on and willing to support them against that old vulture.

I am really enjoying Enrie and Gianci, and I'm glad I allowed them to have a romance.

The doubled space may be unneeded, but it is also not an error, and it is the way I prefer to type.

OK. Take a look, though (screenshot):


You could do a global search-and-replace,
SPACE SPACE → SPACE
That way you could keep typing the way you're used to, and the text would appear in customary Web display, without those leading spaces. Your choice, of course.

Or you (or I or anyone) could put in a bug report to Wordpress.
