Those small-t temples get some generous donations from folks like Kisal. I find I'm curious just how inter-connected and organized the various groups she(?) works with or makes use of are.

They do get some nice donations.... wonder why :-D

I don't think there's much question about why the donations happen. Rather, the questions are about how deliberately or indifferently or unwillingly any given group is involved, and how they think (or ignore) how that involvement relates to their (official or unofficial) primary purpose. :)
