The original poll was a little too long, so I'm divvying this up into little polls for everyone's sanity.

Stories that WILL be written because I've already started their outlines:
Heroes
Catbois in Cages
Space Accountant Accidental Marriage

The other winners of the first Poll (At least 2 of these will be written):
Bless the Cat.(AF)
Legacy Cat.(AF)
King(maker) Cake, etc.(AF)

Poll #18819 First Poll of the Polling Polls

Wargh I pruned these already you meanie. :-P
And nine isn't *terrible* for poll respondents ... okay yeah, it was an intimidating lot.
<stares>

The link for Tangling isn't just a walk in the park goes to "A Tangled Knot".

The non-overlapping ones could go vote on the other one, too!

I wish I knew! My attempts so far at getting people to prompt or vote or whathaveyou mostly only work on [personal profile] sauergeek, who was going to anyway and just hadn't noticed yet. Certainly the last nudge to prompt aimed at *someone actively asking for more* didn't work at all. Irk.

I suppose taking offense isn't entirely implausible, but I'd still find it somewhat baffling. Yes, prompting isn't zero work, but it's a lot less work than writing. (If you're not a crazy archive diver, anyway, and even then ...)

Ha! One of the mini-polls finally got more votes than the giant poll of doom. I guess polls with lots of specific material behind them are inherently more work than more abstract polls. I wonder if a one-line description of each story would make it better or worse.

This one! <points up> With ten voters, to nine on the giant one. Thus commenting here. :)

Yeah, given the list I was wondering if there was room for anything from the new poll, or what the maybe-one-more poll might've been about. I'm guessing that will not be a thing.

<starts to look guilty>
<remembers this plan was a total surprised to me when you announced it>
<squeees gleefully and guilt-free!>

I think the more likely "problem" is that some of them will run long, and so 50k words will not be enough for that many endings. Some of them I imagine could be wrapped up relatively quickly, but at least one is totally new, and a number are only barely begun or have a lot going on.
