She thought that her rather unpleasant trick would get him to release the favor. I see he has other plans in mind, even if it involves him being the Kept instead of her. I wonder if he's thought this through, or if his plan doesn't rely on which half of that relationship he holds?

Given that she wants nothing to do with him, what's to prevent her from immediately releasing him and hightailing it out of town?

I suppose she could just murder him, but she seems disinlined, despite having threatened him into a keeping.

Yeah, there have. It’s harder to say no when you’re Kept. But you CAN.
