Date: 2018-04-05 05:25 am (UTC)That generator is usually only sporadically running. However, it's been running since the first power outage we had this winter. Even if the rest of the area loses power — and my building is one of the least likely to, as all the power lines are underground — that generator will be providing a bit of background hum against wind, rain, or whatever else the weather decides to do.
