Kael looked between Caron and Hallsey, wondering exactly what she’d said that was getting her such strange looks from both of them.

“Are you offering… to teach us?  On something like a regular basis?”

“But not potions,” Hallsey added to her friend’s question.  “But like… how to find out history?”

“That depends.”  Kael was feeling out her answer as she went,  but she was pretty sure she was on the right track.  “Do you want to learn potions, history, or both?”

“Are you for real?” Caron stared at her.  “Are you really - I mean, what would you charge?”

Which means figuring out money or credit or something, which I suspect the Kael hasn't had to think hard about since, oh, building her tower at least.

It'll be exciting.

Also, tower/exhibit logistics and dealing with Mr. V.

Kael's going to need money for this. She's not going to be able to get credit in any reasonable amount of time. Mr. Vibius, from what we've seen of him, doesn't seem like one to look kindly on a request for an advance, but we'll see, as that's likely what she'll have to do, if she thinks about it at all.

Kael's starting to think about what happens when that potion wears off. I hope she has a fair idea of when that is, though she's pointed out that the ingredients are somewhat different from what she's used to.

How does Hallsey know that there's going to be translation needed? Or is this conceptual translation, not language translation? (Boy are they in for a surprise when that potion fails...) Kael may want to keep a bottle of the potion with her just in case.

When is Joaon likely to come back? And how likely will he be distressed to find evidence that she's awake, but not in?
