Leander felt a sudden surge of panic and a twist in his gut.  Fuck, he thought this had been going -

well, ridiculously too well.  He wasn’t the sort of guy you bought for this, let’s be honest.  He wasn’t the sort of guy you bought for anything but being a thug, unless you were a particular sort of sadist.

His owner or his… handler? being a sadist was still on the table, he reminded himself.

That is definitely not as helpful as she implied she would be! I do like her and her attempts to force her father to communicate, though. Amazing, a Keeper communicating with his Kept, who would have thought of it?

That's not much like the yelling she said she'd do. Perhaps there will be more later, if she's not able to guide the conversation otherwise? Then again, Leander wanted to be able to talk to him alone, and this may well be a good time to do that.
