This is going to be a sort of generalize life-of-Lyn post, so hello!

Yesterday, we took the boys to the vet (that's Oli and Theo, my boycats) for their annual checkup and rabies booster.  They remain pretty, fluffy, in good help and well taken-care-of, according to our vet, and they even swallowed their pills like good boys.

I've been sickish for about a week and a half, so if I've been quiet, other than scheduled posts, that's why.  Did you know your sternum can get inflamed?  It kind of sucks. It's called Tietze Syndrome or Costochondritis (although looking these up, WebMD seems to think they're different things, my doctor put both on the paperwork).  It's -- well, annoying, on a good day.

Ahem.

It probably could be either one, then. If the first (or current) go-to treatment for both is the same, the doc may have felt there is no need for you to pay for tests to distinguish between them. Or perhaps the test is the treatment? I am not familiar with either one, really, so I can't be sure.

I hope they can help you get better fast!

Yay, happy healthy fluffs! May they and Merit sit with you and purr and speed your recovery along. That sounds like a really annoying malady.

Saturday was nice enough -- I was running late and missed going out to [personal profile] sauergeek's garden plot with him, but we did get out for a walk later and saw a musktrat (probably) and mallard ducks in the river. Sunday and Monday and today were cool and damp and involved a lot of staying indoors, but that included some baking and crafting, which I can't complain about too much. :)

Yay, tasty yarn! I haven't tried knitting in a while, and should give it another stab one of these days.

The chilly spring here has been warm enough to be pleasant--we get to avoid using either the heat or the air conditioning! And I'm getting more use out of the kiddo's warm fleece PJs than I thought I would.
