Giraffe Call - Prompt/Inventive questions

Yesterday night I posted a summary (and on LJ) of October's Spooks and Creeps Giraffe Call.

Looking at incentives:

1. Did the linkback story work for you? How could it work better?

1. I suppose it worked. I linked a couple of times, though I don't know that I would have linked less without the story. I haven't read it yet because I am waiting for it to be done (or as close as it's going to get); I would find it annoying to go back and forth every time it's updated. But I've had it open in a tab all this time so it's not like I'm ignoring it.
2. Runner-up. I'm not sure what there is to say about Cunning Linguist besides what's already there!
3. A party! Pictures of you rolling around on the giraffe carpet with glee! Cookies for everybody!

5. I don't really know. I always like having more of your writing.

It would reassure the audience that you'd actually gotten the carpet and were pleased with it? Or that could be way too embarassing.

1. Yay! Then I promise I will also read that today. Hopefully I will read all of the stories that you've posted and I haven't read today.

4. Maybe I did. It has fled from my brain. But a religion theme would be pretty awesome. Or, ooh, a transformation theme! (Sometimes you just have to get my brain started.) Or "future." Or "past." Or both together.

I figured, holiday-like but not really holiday. Also, "religion" will take too much research for November.
