Doomsday Academy, a few years under a decade before Cya Keeps Leo.

"It's not that it's gross..." Aron spoke carefully, his eyes darting between his three crewmates. "It's just that it seems wrong when they're just..." His hands lifted as if ready to make a gesture, then flopped to the bed, and his cheeks colored.

Today they were in Sunny's cy'Red dorm, stacked on her bed, because one of Aron's cy'ra were... engaged... with a cy'Sweetflower. Loudly.

"And I mean, sure, they're having fun, but then there's going to be that loud mess like there was with the last one, with Silva, and with Kit before that. At this rate, he's not going to be able to talk to anyone in the school by the time he graduates."

"We're not going to do that. Right?" Sunny looked between the three of them, her crew. "We're best friends. We're crew. We're not going to get all... all sexy and start fighting with each other, right? Right?"

"No sex," Astarte agreed with a sharp nod.

"Sex is for outside the crew," Kerr agreed, very quietly.

"It's a deal." They put their hands together and shook, all for one, one for all.

Musing on another Giraffe Call

I have just wrapped up a major project and am looking to wrap up Edally in a few weeks (This book; then a break before Saydrie's book).

I am thinking of doing another Giraffe Call, and taking some feedback I have gotten that the live-writing-feel is often good.

So it would go something like:

The Call opens when I wake up on X day. That's all I write to that day, as long as there are prompts. I write to prompts I get from the first 16 people/the first 16 prompts.

Tipping assures a second ficlet for tipper, and tipping thresholds ($25? $20?) carry the writing on for a second/third/etc. day - possibly with new themes each day, possibly the same theme throughout.

As always, tipping could also buy continuations, although I might stick with my 2-cents-a-word normal rate just to not be writing forever and ever amen.

Thoughts? Also, theme suggestions?

The next morning found mounts, Soleck, Leffen, breakfast, and packed saddle bags waiting for the four of them. Breakfast, as laid out by Marna and Orna, was heavy, filling, and delicious. The horses were horses only, as far as Susan could tell, solid working beasts that seemed placid, easy rides. Well, Soleck had no way of knowing they’d spent a lifetime in the saddle, and these may have been the rides available. Susan hoped she wasn’t taking a beast someone needed to pull a plow.

Edally Academy "World" Info Updated

In looking over information here and there on the site, it came to my attention that the page labelled "The World" still said "information about the world goes here."

I've begun to rectify that with a section on geography and one on history. Religion/Gods, Sira/Aether, and Language already have heir own sub-pages.

Is there anything else you'd like to know about Reiassan or the greater world?
