I don't think it's all that weird, I love sci-fi stuff and kink stuff.

yay! The juxtaposition of the two really pleases me, but I think it threw off some other readers.

I can't speak for others, but it doesn't seem that kinky to me. Maybe that's because I also read kink on lit erotica.com though. That makes this seem very tame.

Mm. The main-story stuff doesn't strike me as all that kinky, either, but the stuff in the Pit sort of ventures there.

(I don't read erotica.com, but I've read enough webporn (and the other sort; husband bought me the Marquis de Sade 2 Christmases in a row) that my definition of kinky is pretty broad.)
