Addergoole T-shirts ideas - feedback wanted

So, 3-1/2 years after starting the original serial, and one day after launching The New Serial, I finally have ideas for T-shirts.

My thoughts, such as they are:

A series with flat color or line-art of the Addergoole Coat of Arms on the front left chest, text below.
Text: STAFF, KEPT, KEEPER, and then cy'[Mentor]

I'm not sure about the back text for the first three, but for cy'Mentors, something like:

Linden's Students
They who have the most toys[fun?] win.

Luca's Students
Fight with honor
Love with honor
Live [die?] with honor

Valerian's Students
Nature is sharper than it looks
and less forgiving

Pelletier's Students
I can see your future.
It looks ugly/Do you want the bad news or the really bad news first?

Fridmar's Students
[some variation on "what doesn't kill you makes me stronger"]

Mendosa's Students
I can see your problem now; you're crazy
Would you like me to fix that?

Ooh, I love it! I don't know whether I want Pelletier's or Mendosa's more (though I will note I prefer the second version of Pelletier's).

Any ideas for any others?

And what can I do for graphics, or do I ignore that part?

I mean, I can make a basic line-art vine, tail (wings are harder)... Zazzle pays so little that splitting it between an artist and me would make for almost no profit.

Hrrm. And since there are mentors I wouldn't know what to do for (Fridmar?) for art, maybe skip the art.

I would think the Addergoole crest on the front would be sufficient imagery.

Cool crest! What is the motto supposed to mean? I get something like

You_[singular] are a descendant sprig_[;-)] of our + story

but I can't get it to work out grammatically.

Whoops, I had it translated for me - Latin not my language. :-D

"In the children is the future/the story."

A good friend of mine drew it from my scribbles. Which were like... "some books maybe? and then wings, wings are good."

Oh yeah, books and wings. But the Latin, Oh no. Convertam pro te, non hodie sed cras. (I'll translate for you, not today but tomorrow. I am after all a proCRAStinator, and yes, that's what it comes from.)
