Of course, even with a chart, it helps to look at the weather on a day-to-day basis at the beginning and end of the season.

Our frost dates are pretty similar to yours.

We're supposed to get half a foot of snow tomorrow.

We seem to be done with snow, knock-on-wood, but I still have hats on my sqaush.

Peas are coming up, lettuces and similar are coming up. Tomatoes and cukes are turning into seedlings, and hopefully not dying of damping off in my aerogarden.

May 15th is my go-to date for planting frost-unfriendly things. :)

It must be spring here. My mother's Christmas cactus finally appears to have given up on blooming.
