I need to write 2,122.4 words/day for the rest of the month to finish on time, or 2387.75 words/day to finish by the 30th.

I'm still learning how to /stick/ to it, mind you...

Eh. Don't stick to it if what you come up with later is more interesting. It's just a guideline!

Of course, I say that having deleted several hundred words because they were clearly deviating from my notes (it was sort of background info, so it wasn't in my outline) not three days ago... but what I had in my notes was a lot more interesting, creating some complications and sidestepping one that really wouldn't have advanced the plot.

Wellll, I'm also learning how to write plot. So I think I should minimize the wandering off parts.
