aldersprigOkay, I'm going to give this a try.
Someone (*cough* T) suggested I try writing stuff set in the real world.
I'm pretty unsure about this - I like being a genre author! - but I'm willing to give it a try.
Give me a couple real-world prompts and I'll see what I can do.

* Dealing with disasters and crisis, you know, things like:
-- The internet's down.
-- The only restaurant in town on a road trip is the 'other' burger place

-- Incompatible neighbors - for added awkwardness make it an apartment building rather than separate homes :)
* Two writers meeting for the first time at a coffee shop

Second, a meteor taking a shower (just floating in mid-air in the shower stall, with the water on).
I may have been exposed to too many puns and visual gags. :P
