I have a randomized list of 18 things to write (although some are duplicates because I really need to write them). This includes:

and so on.

I can probably write between 5 and 10 today, and I'm giving anyone around a chance to be my randomizer.

Pick a number between 1 and 18 and I will write that piece (or 250-500 words thereof), in the order of replies received.

By my usual method: start the stopwatch on my watch, let it run a bit, and stop it. Take the centiseconds, modulo whatever is appropriate. If out of range, repeat.

Modulo is approximately "remainder when divided by" 5 modulo 3 is 2.

"Two numbers are congruent modulo a given number if they give the same remainder when divided by that number."

yup, kelkyag has it right. It came up x.26 seconds. 26 - 20= 6. X.06,46,66,or 86 would have been the same. X.19 or 20, reroll.
