Write the werewolf episode. Learn more about the characters and their dynamics. They may well tell you how they met! Then go back and write the pilot episode :) I admit, I do things backwards. I'm editing my novel and I've had to write an outline to keep things straight now, instead of having written an outline *before* the first draft. That said, I remember a show, maybe Nikita (90's version not the recent reboot) saying they filmed the first couple of episodes out of order so when they filmed the pilot the actors were comfortable with the characters and each other, making for a stronger start that would hopefully grab the audience. And I also seem to recall some advice about rewriting chapter one/your first paragraphs after the rest of your fic/novel, because only when it's done do you know truly know where the story is going and how to best introduce that :)

And clearly the second Extranormal Crimes book cannot be werewolves... Though I just realized that it was GOING to be. That's funny.
