Reiassan/Edally Wiki Q.

So, if I was going to rearrange the currently-sloppy Reiassan Wiki so that it was readable/useful:

* What categories would you look for when reading about a fictional world?
- if you know Reiassan, are their Reiassan-specific categories?
* what do you look on a fictional world's wiki for?

off the top of my head:
People (as in "named characters")
Places (from continents down to, say, notable pubs mentioned in the stories somewhere :P)
Species (animals, plants, sentinents if applicable)
Groups (cultures, clans, organisations, religions...)

I'd mostly look for "who or what is that, and how does it thread through the stories, or where does it show up?"

<nod> I'd add history or notable events, possibly as or including a timeline. And possibly items or technology; I don't know if that'd be a one-page overview or a whole category.

Good point. I tend to fold history in with places, mostly, but, yeah, if the world history is... well, if there IS a world history, an overview would be good XD

I tend to do most of my reading via the Wiki Effect and just hop from page to linked page, but in terms of what I actively look for?

- Maps. Cities. Geographical highlights.
- Notes about cultural details.
- Important present/historical people.
- If there's magic, anything about how it works that I can get my hands on. I can read about magic for hours.
- Any plants or animals or other things that are distinctly different from Real Life.
