Pondering Patreon

So clare_dragonfly has an awesome idea for a Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/clarekrmiller & I'm contemplating changing my model to be more similar to hers.

Thoughts?

Ideas?

I prefer to keep the patronage/reward monthly, rather than per-unit, in part 'cause my units are so darn small & constant & in part for more consistent income.

Monthly rather than per unit is a lot better always, because being surprised by how much you pay is kinda meh.

I may be weird, but too much patrons-only content, and in particular patrons-only activities, actually puts me off. There's one person I was motivated to support for the reward (actual snail mail postcards), the others I support for what they do and post publicly; half of them do not offer rewards for patrons at all.

Somehow If there were patron-only prompt calls I feel like if I am a patron I'd fail if I didn't post a prompt to one of those.
