OOH, a prelude would be STUPENDOUS. Something short, rather than the monster-fic of "Salvaging," don't worry!

I'm not the author so I really don't matter here, but... a prelude for what? I can't think of how a prelude would help either story, so I'm really curious what you have in mind.

Honestly, it's been impossible for me to connect to the stories; every time I think I've found the beginning, I find myself lost in twistyland. It's one reason why I put so MANY indexes on my own work. Someone might start reading the current story at part fourteen, and I make it simple to go back to the beginning AND find the other stories which connect to it-- all because it's so hard for me to do that with very long series.

Are we talking about the two serials, Jumping Rings and Edally? Or about my stories in general...??

Let me see if I follow. You are referring to all of Lyn's Addergoole/faerie apocalypse writings on Dreamwidth as a single serial?

dialecticdreamer I'm not sure if you caught inventrix's question below, but I'm curious to know the answer, because I'd like to help you & I'm not quite sure how.

At the moment, Addergoole is 2 published serials - both can be found here http://addergoole.com/ - and a lot of backmatter, side stories, speculative stuff, and the like, mostly posted on Dreamwidth.
