So, the world that has Scheffenon and Orschëst has, in a nearby country, another city. It's south of Orschëst, I believe, and it's getting the story for "ש is for shemesh, the sun".

Also the nation this place is part of would be great. :-)

• Sontsi or Sontse or Sontsë: from Russian сольнце 'the sun'
• Doghashchi: not from anything. The "gh" is a [ɣ], like German/Yiddish/Welsh "ch" but voiced. (Mm, but I'm still being influenced by Russian, with that "shch".)

Are all these places, including (the lands containing) Scheffenon and Orschëst, supposed to have the same language? It makes a difference, to me at least.

Scheffenon and Orschëst are within a nation having the same language; the nearby country & city do not need to have the same, and likely should not.
