The first meeting of Glee club had at least three times the number of people Zdenka thought they’d invited, but from the looks of things, more than half of them were just there to see what this was all about.

There were a whole five people from their year, and then another five from the year before them – “tenth cohort” – including the very distracting Aleron and, miracle of miracles, Yona.

Rose was finding the people in Addergoole a little bit strange.

Yes, there were bullies, and yes there were nerds, or at least a few people in a little clique that she thought were probably nerds.

But on the other hand, there weren’t what she could read as popular kids, there were no sports, there wasn’t even a Math Olympiad or a Chess club – people seemed to group by their suites or their boyfriends/girlfriends or just not choose to clique up.

Timora
24.) What might your character’s ideal romantic partner be?
Timora wants a white knight. She wants a truly nice man who sees her for the lovely soul she is and doesn’t mind that she doesn’t look like the popular girls; she wants someone who wants long walks on the beach and gentle kisses and will rescue her and carry her off on his horse.

They read you Cinderella
You hoped it would come true
That one day your Prince Charming would come rescue you

52 43 Days To 52 Weeks

For the 52 days leading up to the 52 weeks of Addergoole: Year 9, I will be posting something Addergoole-related every day.

Today I present to you Jeremiah the Prophet and Liliandra-called-Lolly!

Jeremiah cy'Pelletier is a Seventh-Cohort student; he spent his first year in Addergoole Owned by Rowan, the dryad-like Fourth Cohort. He's often likened to a scarecrow - at 6'7" tall and bone-thin, with a messy tousle of brown hair at the top, the resemblance is clear.

He has been called the Prophet since his first year in school; he is rumored to have cryptic visions, although some think the moniker was just a pun on his given name. Preferring secrecy, as does his entire crew, he doesn't answer many questions about the nickname.

With him today is Liliandra cy'Linden, called Lolly. She bears a resemblance to this the porn star Loli Feder, although her nickname comes from her fondness for outfits like this (image, safe): she's a tiny blonde girl in dollish clothing, with long dollish blonde curls and an occasionally far-too-childish set of behaviours. Jeremiah has been Keeping her since several weeks into her first year - Lolly is an 8th Cohort student.

The two originally appeared in Three-Way and Duet.

And, today, if you would like to ask Jeremiah or Lolly any question, at any point up to the end of Duet, feel free!

The first three question-and-answer sessions are still open as well:

52 45 Days To 52 Weeks

For the 52 days leading up to the 52 weeks of Addergoole: Year 9, I will be posting something Addergoole-related every day.

Today I present to you Timora!

Timora is a shy, uncertain girl who reached her height (5 foot 7 inches) quickly and the rest of her growth more slowly, making her awkward and uncertain around her classmates. Added to a generally retiring nature – in a family full of loud and boisterous people, she has always been the quiet one – this generally led people to misunderstand her name as a pun for “timid.”

Her brother, Smitty, tried to tell her about Addergoole. He was hampered by first the geas, second by the fact that his experiences at the school were some of the mildest around, and third by their six-year age gap and his long absence from home during Timora’s formative years. She is left understanding that there is a family legacy relating to the school, and that there are animals to spend time with there.

Timora originally appeared in Fae-bane and Frying Pans, Etc..

And, today, if you would like to ask Timora any question, at any point up to the end of Frying Pans, Etc., feel free!

The first two question-and-answer sessions are still open as well:

Addergoole Year Nine won the reader poll for "Next Year's serial;" the story proper will begin the first full week of September.

In the meantime, please enjoy the second of twenty-something character profiles: Timora.

As a child, she was fond of books, animals, and farming, with a propensity for spending a good deal of time in the local dairy and goat farmers’ barns, helping out or getting in the way. She was not, perhaps surprisingly, much into horse fantasy, although she did love the Narnian centaurs, preferring the fauns, dryads, naiads, and such.
